The Macho Man

James was happily singing "Macho, macho man, I'd like to be a macho man".  With a slight giggle, I asked him, "Are you a macho man?" He replied with great seriousness, "Oh, no, that's only on Thursdays." (10/08/10)

    I love it! When I assigned kids to a day for helpers this year Thursday ended up all boys. When we noticed it I started singing Macho Macho Day... to the the tune of Macho Man. Wednesday turned out to be Chick Chick Chick Chick Day...I think it will have to be a tradition - he can say I was one of the first Macho Men of Second Grade. Kind of sounds like a calendar...
